ok, 45 minutes elapsed, 0 hackers here

1. open 1 instance in www.***.net, take a look to your CPU usage, is low right? or high? who cares
2. open many instances " remember, instances, not tabs " take a look to your cpu usage, wait, wait more, wait, dont do nothing, see the jumps from 0 to 45 and even 70 or more? silent mining? or silent refresh? who cares, it consumes a lot of electricity, while you are just reading
3. try the same, in one instance, but a lot of tabs " is minimal, right? " the key, is in many tabs, and if is not refreshing, maybe is bitcoin mining, why in tabs not happen, but in instances happen? maybe is a low silent bitcoin mining

good

now, test it with anandtech, safe
test it with foros gxzone, is safe too

now, go to voxed again, disable javascript, and flash, reopen browser, and many instances you want

done, not cpu jumps

what do you thinkg people

a new way to steal the people with silent bitcoin mining and jumps of 5% to 12% in each instance

or, just a cpu usage for " autofresh "

anyway

if autorefresh does this, is time to disable it in each website of the planet, for ECOLOGY

if is a hide bitcoin mining, so hiding 5 to 12 %

then... damn thiefs.

for who want to analyze more this, use wireshark

im too lazzy now,bye.

oh, just imagine, a famous website of internet, 1.000.000 people browsing

consumming 10.000.000 watts

but wait

in a silent mining website for each instance oh yes, there is, 50.000.000 watts used, or maybe 120.000.000

awesome way to do a big STEAL mining bitcoin

maybe for that reason bitcoin has more value than dollars and permanently stucks in high value and dont decrease?

are they mining with our electricity in a EPIC silent way?

think about it.}

was too obvius when movistar was hacked, cpu rised to 100%, but who is going to think bad about a 5% usage to 12% usage?

intelligence for do the evil... but where is the people with intelligence to do the good

hello, im here, but im alone

If you followed the Firefox version / release thread(s) over in Windows Software, you would have read that newer versions of Firefox, are going to contain anti-coin-mining features.

So yes, this is a thing (and I'm not visiting those sites just to check), and it is potentially a waste of power, depending, and it is at the very least, rude, if not downright deceptive if it's not opt-in. (It should be, like a Paypal donation, instead, a site should ask you if you WANT to allow that site to "mine" in the background to pay for your usage of that site. Certain sites, I would.)
