Any guys ever have pain in their epididymis?

For the last 7 or 8 years on occasion, the epididymis on my right ball hurts like a bastard when i roll the ball around in my fingers when making sure there's no lumps or anything. It's extremely painful when it happens...anyone else have this, and what'd you do?

I would suggest you see a Dr.

Unless you don't mind possibly losing your right nut. But hey, I'm sure it'd be a great story to tell people!

first, i think after a year or two, id see a doctor

second, no...

third, why do you roll your ball around to make sure theres no lumps in it in the first place, especially if thats whats causing you pain? (or did i misread you?) 😕 or rather....why do you keep rolling it for lumps, having pain, and still not seeing a doc?

i dont get some of the med questions people come up with here, 8 years....christ!

Umm, I think he means the other "ball" as in reference to male genetalia.

Testicle. Nut. Right part of the berries of the combination known as twigs and berries. The right part of a pair of Arabian goggles.

No but a 2-second foray onto Wikipedia brought up this. 😛

yeah, my kid assaulted me and i wasnt paying full attention. little bastage snuck into my room and jumped on my chair :/

Can be extremely painful. Had epididymitis once; my right testicle area swelled to about 5 times its normal size. Had to get an ultrasound done to make sure it wasn't cancer or something. It was 10 times worse than any pain associated with a vasectomy.

I had bad pain in my right testicle one day, right at the stem. Now there is a small bump there, doc says its a blocked gland or something. Got the ultrasound and they didnt find anything.

But go get it checked out, its very important to catch these things early.

Stop grabbing women's breasts and they'll stop kicking you there.

shame on you for wasting time. Go to the ER and take care of the family jewels!

There is no reason to go to the ER over this.

It's easy to pinch a nerve down there. That's the explanation that I've heard for random pains in the genetalia.

GO SEE A FVCKING DOCTOR!!!!! I can't beleive how long some people will let things go, especially with areas as sensitive as you genitals.

One thing that's been bothering me - although not lately - is a weird aching pain in my right nut, as well. It seems to come on slowly and get worse and worse, making it painful to walk if there is ANY jarring or even slight rubbing against anything (even pants or legs). It's a very persistant ache that goes up into my body slightly, almost like the after-effects of getting socked in the nads.

I've asked doctors about it a few times, but they usually brush it off as a minor injury from too much jostling or something - but that really shouldn't be the case since it doesn't seem to result from that and comes and goes randomly.

Anyone else have this? I've posted about it before and asked docs many times, but still no luck.

I had something similar. Ask for an ultrasound, insurance should cover it.
