I got a custom built its got a quad core 3.4 black edition with 8 gigs of ddr3 ram a 500 gig hdd and a newer raideon gfx card

There certainly doesn't seem to be anything bad about it. If you could list out its full specs, I'm sure people would be more than ready to tell you what fps you should get out of modern games.
