Any Good Video Chat Sites? (...not that kind)

I just wanted to find a decent video chat site to talk with people, I'm living in BFE and really need some human interaction. I'm NOT looking for lewd sites, just a simple and random chat room type thing where adults can talk about "stuff".

I tried Omegle but it seems to be full of 16-20 year olds and I have nothing in common with them...fail.

because it's totally possible to find a place on the internet where the members have these three things:
1) a webcam
2) maturity
3) anonymity
right...
 
Such place does not exist. There will always be 12-20 year olds trolling around on these sites ruining them for what they should be used for.
 
Join some sort of sports league? Poker night? Go sit at Applebees and talk to random strangers?

What is this freaking world coming to.

Exactly this. I have used omegle as well, and sadly I believe it's the best there is. I have had some really good conversations, but it usually takes about 20 ASL/disconnect type conversations before you find someone who actually wants to talk.
 
Paltalk. I've gotten to where I really like it. It's more like an IRC channel but has cams. I got introduced to it when the radio shows I listen to stated they use it.

Sure enough, you can log into the room and select which cameras you want to view. They have the cams set up in the studio.
 
I'd just go to a bar. It's not hard to find someone to talk to. Otherwise, what's wrong with the forum model? You get to talk to people, then bail when they start boring you. No uncomfortable extraction, or anything. You just quit posting :^)
