any good sites for technical info on cars?

i'm trying to find out a bunch of stuff, including what made Hemi engines so powerful, histories of different car companies(ford, chevy, pontiac, chrysler etc.) and just a general history/tuning/technical site on american cars, not specifically one make or car. i have read through all of autozine and am hungry for more 🙂
 
it would be nice if they had more info on it... although i think the link i have is to a mirror so maybe there is a main page with more info? i still want to find out about the hemi's, history etc. as well as more stuff like what's on autozine
 
Your best bet is to go to specific Ford/GM/Mopar enthusiast sites. The people who work on them for fun know more than the people who test drive them for money, most of the time.
