Any good RPGs for XB360 or PS3 yet?

It seems like forever since I played a decent RPG...has anyone played one that they like? I'm talking about something like the FF series - good story and fun to play.

I said to myself at one point that this is exactly what I have been looking to fulfill my love and desire for FF. I haven't felt that satisfied since FF X.
 
Not a popular choice, but I enjoyed Blue Dragon as well.. Was definately worth a rental - playthrough but I certainly wouldnt buy it at full price.

Both BD and Lost Odyssey were good games, and had the FF "vibe" to them IMO at least.

 
I heard fable 2 will be good...FF is coming out for the 360 I heard too.

I am getting the original fable and will be trying tha tout.

Also got The Last Remnant and Star Ocean coming along with Final Fantasy.

I can't remember the PS3 JRPGs off the top of my head beyond FF13 and White Knight right now. edit: shaking cobwebs....Eternal Sonata is coming out for the PS3 in October, Enchanted Arms is already out, and The Last Remnant is rumored to be coming to the PS3 too.



 
I also recommend Lost Odyssey. It is your best choice.
I have Blue Dragon but have barely started it. I think it is going to be fun.
Enchanted Arms is OK as well.

And there are Rumours that Tales is also coming out for PS3, considering that the developers have a habit of porting games that are exclusive.

Mass effect is awesome, definately worth a play through! It kills me that the people behind it are owned by EA, but its a really good game with an excellent in depth storyline. Ive read some criticism about the combat... i dunno what most RPG's do for combat but i played mass effect like it was gears of war and i had fun.

Fallout 3 is an RPG as well i think. This guys having fun with it so it might be worth checking out.
 
I regret my PS3 purchase. There are already a lot more rpgs for xbox360 and it seems it will stay that way. 🙁
 
I'm playing through Lost Odyssey now. If I didn't know the name, I would almost swear it's part of the FF series. Although the battle system is a little more simplified, yet the use of the rings really reminds me of the Materia system in FF7.

This. Fable II comes out next month, and if it even comes close to it's potential it should be a great game for the xbox360.

ps3 version is having a buttload of extra content w/ additional playable character.

btw I have enchanted arms too and yeah I'm with the, "why did I pay for this garbage"-crowd.
