What's the diff between all those italian pastas besides the shape?

not really.. rice noodles and wheat noodles are quite different🙂 there are some italian pastas that have different consistency, but yea, generally its just shape. super thick or flat noodles and super thin do make a difference though.

What's the big difference between ramen and udon, other than the noodles?
Well for starters, ramen is Korean and udon is Japanese. So everything besides the noodles is often completely different as well.

Eh? I thought that the Japanese first invented ramen.

Errm, I don't know anything about history. 😱 I'm just referring to contemporary cuisine.

Out of curiosity, why would you go out for ramen when it can be had at home in two minutes for less than a dollar? 😕

Why would you go out to itallian food when you have dried speghetti and ragu at home?

I asked because I've never gone out for ramen notfred, happy?

I never have either, but I figured it out.

You sir are a true 100% authentic AT'er!

😀

correction, i scanned it🙂 i think i basically had to, there isn't really an english name.

dude, tung kee is vietnamese style... its not even close to ramen...

ramen is japanese noodle, usually using egg noodle, but not the kind that they use at tung kee

all the noodles I eat have no English writing on it and it comes f rom China town shops. They are from china or Thailand depending on which ones I get. DAM good.

I never touch anything else. Refuse to buy pot noodles as I can have noodles that taste much better and I don't have to pay for them. As I take boxes of about 30 packets up to Uni with me 😀

Don't even ask me what they are called as they don't have any English writing on them, some have what flavours they are but thats about it.
