any good pc games lately?

the new star wars empire RTS looks cool. Also Oblivion is coming.

But I just found a bunch of old games have been updated - Freespace 2 is available on www.hard-light.net legally from an FTP site with all sorts of nice additions, Falcon 4.0, European Air War - make the old new again!

thats why it's hard for me to give $280+ for a 7800GT instead of a cheaper 6800GS. Still haven't decided yet. A 6800GS will run anything I want it to fine. Only other game I am looking forward to is UT2007. According to EBgames thats not till the end of the year.

OH GOD THOSE BUILDINGS DONT HAVE SHADOWS!!!!!! My immersion is now a -2 from it's previous state!! I would be more concerned that they might still have that same clunky Hero's Quest-esque combat system and are actually making the game world smaller for some reason.

I just started playing Lineage II it is my first pc game. I have always been a console person but Lineage is fun.

I bought Battlefield 2 recently and i enjoy it. Also been playing Counter Strike:Source and v1.6. Also borrowed B&W2 from a friend and played it. Not to mention Morrowind, Dawn of War, and HL2. I guess i play too many PC games.

As for really recent PC games, i don't really know of any great ones. I hope oblivion is good when it comes out.
