This isn't super new, but Tae Guk Gi - The Brotherhood of war (I think a couple years old) was DAMN good. One of the best movies I have ever seen.

Arahan is pretty good, its Korean and is an action comedy.
I've also heard good things about Azumi 1 and 2.
