Any Good Multiplayer Co-Op LAN Games Out?

I haven't been really paying attention to the gaming scene lately so I was wondering if you guys knew of any decent co-op over LAN (or the same computer with two gamepads would work too) games? I remember my roommate and I having a blast on the LOTR games with two gamepads. Rainbow Six Lockdown was one that caught my eye, any others?

Hmm.. Star wars empire at war is fun to play 2 player. You can play conquest mode against each other, and save progress.
 
thanks for your suggestions. i just noticed that chronicles of narnia is similar to the LOTR games in the fact that it's a basic hack 'n slash game where you can use two gamepads...

that game is insane when you have actual people playing instead of computer controlled units.. dear god, its so hard, but so fun
 
SWAT 4 and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory both have great co-op modes, IMO. Although CT's co-op doesn't have much replay value due to the limited number of co-op maps.

Yeah, The Telic weapons are nice 🙂

Tesla power is crazy power 😉
 
Lego Star Wars is also a pretty fun 2 player co-op game. rather short though, only took about 4-5 hours to beat.

That sux, I remember playing co-op on Xbox and it was fun. The PC game looks good but it's just so darn buggy.
 
does the far cry co mod work now? because i remember it not working well at all back when i tried it...maybe a year ago?
