For the life of me, I can't figure out why more manufacturer's don't use steering wheel remotes with their headunits. All my friends with the little creditcard sized ones have already lost them or just plain next use them.

Can anyone recommend a good low/mid priced (less than $400) MP3 unit with a steering wheel remote?

Thanks

Are they THAT useful? I never even use my remote unless I'm parked somewhere and laying down.

The ones attached to the steering wheel rock. My mother's Lincoln Aviator has it.

Yep, I rented a Buick Regal last month and loved the one in there. I changed the radio much more when something came on that I didn't want to listen to.

Heh, in my car I can just rest my hand on the shifter and press the radio buttons. Long fingers + small car = no remote needed. :D
