Any good Linux ultrabooks?

Are there any ultra think, ultra light, ultra high battery life laptops out there that run Linux flawlessly? The closest thing I can find is the MacBook Air (well, it's not Linux, but OS X is *nix-like).

The next closest thing I've seen was Samsung's offerings, which kind of underwhelmed me. I haven't really kept up with the times... what's available out there? There's a lot of CRAP, so it's hard to sift through it.

That is still hella expensive for what you get. Might as well get a rMBP13 after the Haswell refresh in a few weeks. It's a couple hundred more, but it's a better machine. Other than the aspect ratio, which some people are drawn to on the Pixel.

Also OP, OS X isn't just *nix-like, it is *nix. Unix to be specific. It is fully Unix certified with terminal access and everything. Which I think you already knew.

I agree it expensive but I'm drawn to the overall design. It's also not Apple which matters more to me than it rationally should. 🙂
