any good headsets out there?

I got the logitech premium for AU$35, which is about US$25. They were definately worth it. I'm no audiophile, but they are great for gaming (I mainly play HL2/CS-Source etc...). Haven't really used the microphone, so i cant really comment on it.

If I were you, I'd get the logitechs - they're also $16 cheaper.

I own them....reallllllly good. great value too. they've taken a beating too! (i'm sorry!!!)
The sound quality is excellent, and the mic is real nice too. Very comfortable.


edit: I got mine for $40 on amazon.
 
yup another pc150 vote here. AND ive dropped them about 50 times, tugged on the cable about 100 and it still works like wonders.
 
90% of people on these forums seem to recommend the PC-150s...& when i got mine, i found out why.

Another vote for the Sennheiser PC-150s here 🙂
 
I love the PC150 headsets.

On my home LAN with 4 PCs, each is equiped with one.

Downside is I've had to throw away 3 of them so far this year. Apparently running the cable over with your chair wheel screws up something =( There's never any visable damage, but the microphone will stop working or sound will come out of only one ear.

I have to remember to keep the cord away from the chair casters =(
 
the PC150 sounds fantastic. However my PC150 has taken some use and the headpad is coming loose from the plastic. Needs to be reglued. Other than that, its very comfortable and the mic works well.
