Is there any good free or cheap software that you have used to play music at a party?

I guess you basic MP3 media player would work, but I was hoping there was something better...

After having tried out a huge number of programs, I find Winamp works perfectly fine (Edit: People really don't care about mixes when they aren't dancing). Otherwise I use Traktor.

right, any popular mp3 player software will do it... just turn on crossfading and get a smart-playlist plugin that prevents it from playing the same artist too often

crossfading makes it so that a song doesn't fade out for 5 seconds and make you wait for the next song to fade in... it just crosses the fade in and fade outs and makes it seem as if the music never stops.
