So my fine AT'ers, are you aware of any good forums for fans and users of adobe products like Flash, premiere, photoshop, etc?

Please tell!

google hasnt been really giving me what I want. I just thought on a tech forum people would know another useful forum more specific to adobe-products besides the adobe forum.

If you want to pay, there is always the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP). They have forums there. I'm not a member, but that would cover your interest in a photoshop forum. http://www.photoshopuser.com/

I was a paying member of NAPP for a number of years. I'm no longer as PS-heavy as I used to be, though, so I dropped it.

Excellent forums, at least back then.

I'm not as hardcore as those guys, and money is tight at the moment, so I'd prefer free forums, but thanks for the suggestion pyonir and rivan!

i like the way information was handed down in the old days, like 1999 ...

anyway,
http://GoToandLearn.com/

i think is one of the better Adobe Flash websites, though it's not a forum.

also, the "Flex in a Week" class by Adobe is really good.

and
http://www.Lynda.com/

has lots of good Adobe classes, some of them free.

Yea, I use Lynda a bit, especially for flash stuff. I have googled, but I usually get pretty generic stuff that I'm not really interested in.

The whole point of a forum is contact with other human beings, so that's I created this thread asking if people had any recommendations.

Adobe is kind of screwed up! I spent a half hour looking for a legit download of Adobe Acrobat Reader.

I got tired of playing around with Adobe. I couldn't download.

I ended up downloading Foxit PDF Reader. I'm happy now.

</adobehatingbandwagon>

Adobe.com

Search for "reader" – it even autocompletes.

First result. It's even outlined in a giant box with, in huge letters, "Get Adobe Reader". Click THAT and it autodetects for the appropriate version for your OS (yet still offers a "Different language or operating system?" link).

Adobe screwed up (in this instance) not found - PEBKAC.

Ooh! Can I join the <adobehatingbandwagon>? :D

Just in case uberman isn't uber enough to type adobe.com into his browser, this should help. (It's the very first result.)
