any good COOP FPS for the pc??

Unfortunately game developers dont believe us when we say we want this. The only thing I can think of with native support for coop is a TPS - SC3
 
I loved playing Ghost Recon COOP on my home network with a couple buddies.

They didnt know a CPU from a monitor, but even they enjoyed it. GR is probably a little too old now though.
 
counter-strike if you can find a small server (clan server perferred but pub sometimes work) with no noobs and a team that's mature.
 
Many many hours of memories in quake1 co op. Rainbow Six has some really great multiplayer coop if you crank the ai to a difficult level.
 
I've never understood why Co-Op isn't developed more for PC gamers. It's great fun.

I heard there was a HL2 Co-op mod coming out? Anyone know more about that?
 
Battlefield 1942.

I blame Microsoft for the lack of coop games. It started with Halo, the Xbox version was coop, but the PC version wasn't: then Doom 3, and Battlefield 2. Microsoft is wanting developers to make coop an Xbox exclusive.
 
Rainbow Six: RavenShield

I love this game; it's a little older, but it'll run on a wide variety of hardware and OS versions, plus you can find alot of servers online. It's definitely slower paced than a number of other FPS games, but I like it. 🙂

 
it'd have been kinda neat if quake 4 was coop imo.

coop as in you get to go through game together, and not you get to fight waves of (or rounds with) bots or other players =

coop like halo coop, where you load a map, there's two of you.. work together please!
 
Sven Co-Op for HL1 is pretty fun and has TONS of maps. They are planning on doing Sven Co-Op 2 for HL2, don't know how long it will take them.
