Hello,
New to the board and just wondered if anyone has had any success with cooling mods done to an Antec 1030 case. Was thinking about possibly a blowhole and a side fan. I'm no good with a dremel so if anyone has a company to recommend that would be great also.

Pics would be cool as well!

Thanks!

For cutting fan holes forget about the Dremel. Pick up a hole saw from your local hardware store. It attaches to a drill just like a drill bit and cuts perfect holes easily.

I'm a total rookie when it comes to cutting metal (never even took shop class in high school). Would this be doable for a first-timer?

Thanks for the reply

As long as you're somewhat handy with tools then you will be fine. I had never cut metal either until I modded my case and didn't have any problems. Unless, you have a good clamp and workbench, I highly suggest that you have someone help you with this project.....one person drills while the other holds the case panel.

I'm a first timer and I put a windows kit and blowholes in my 1030... but get a hole saw and jig saw, stay away from those dremels.
