I've been on a reading binge as of late and watching the Prestige last night got me interested in learning more about Tesla and his experiments....

Any recommendations?

Really? Is there some kind of conspiracy theory where government is keeping them under wraps?

The government does in fact have possession of a great deal of his notes, and has not made them public. It isn't a theory.

Now there are of course all kinds of theories about the contents of those notes, many of which are rather out-there.

The FBI continues to hold some of his work classified, while they have declassified much of what they have , some of it still remains classified. This is illegal, since they have no authority to classify such information.

What can you do about it?

File a request under the Freedom of Information Act. But they can still withhold information deemed matters of national security.

You have to be careful... there's sort of a cult built around him and lots of random website information that is obviously not true.

Yup. Lots of quacks really like the guy, and make up all kinds of unsubstantiated rumors about him.

Generally, look at any 9/11, UFO, conspiracy website out there and you'll see Tesla mentioned.

He didn't work for the fed, so under what authority do they have to keep much of his documents still classified. Infact what they did release is full of blankings, where they blanked out whole paragraphs and such.

Yes, and around 200 pages were released, which is only a fraction of what they obtained, also many of the documents released have large sections blanked out, which are still classified.

What is also troubling is for almost 20 years, the FBI kept lying about raiding his office, claiming they didn't. It wasn't until the early 80s did they admit they did raid his office and much of what they took is classified.

What are your feelings on government-issued food recalls?

None, because they government doesn't issue food recalls. Companies do.
