Any given Sunday: Colts vs. Chiefs Jan-11-2004

I like the Colts, and honestly they're the better team. However I'd much rather see the Pats play the Chiefs...easier win for us 😉

My thoughts as well.

This is almost *exactly* what I was hoping for 😀 This game's gonna rock
Edit: 14-3 Colts @ the end of the 1st, in case anyone out there is not able to get the score through any other means.

This is going to be a high scoring affair no doubt. Both offenses are high powered, and both defenses are not that good, especially the chief's running D. I hope the Colts pull it out 🙂

Ok, I really have no idea how this QB rating thing works. If Manning has a 'perfect' 158.3, yet has some incompletions, that means that someone with the same stats but without any incompletions wouldn't have a higher rating?

Rating is a function of TDs, INTs, Pass attempts, completions and yards per attempt. TDs, INTs and yards per attempt playing the bigger role, so you don't necesserily have to complete every pass to have a perfect rating. As long as you don't have any INTs and have a couple of TDs.

In related news, did any defense show up today? This looks like a high school game so far. None of these teams would stand a chance again NE.

qb rating explained

I think it allows for some incompletions up to a point. After that, the rating will start to go down, with more incompletions.
