Any games like the infrared portion of CoD4?

So I just finished CoD4's single player campaign (which was pretty damn good), and was wondering if there were any other games with the same style of gameplay as the infrared portion? The part where you are in a plane with 3 massive guns taking out guys on the ground.

Whole games? Doubt it. That part does rule though. I remember getting really mad at myself for accidentally taking out my own guys with the mini gun.

Nope. It was the first, last, and only time I ever played something like that.
There have been plenty of long-range sniping missions in FPS's over the years. And plenty of aerial shootings too, but never quite like the mission in COD 4.

I played that mission about 5 times. And more when my friends came over. It's just so fun.

Yeah that one is of many freaking awesome COD4 levels. The campaign is put together very well.

Do you guys use the white-hot or black-hot mode? I think I like white-hot more.

I'm not sure which is funnier - that or a comment I read in an actual AC130 video on youtube where someone thought it was taken from CoD.

zerocool, not sure of a link, but I believe this was actually forwarded to me in an email, or possibly linked through a forum by some leathernecks all gung-ho about this awesome video of them turrists being wasted.

I imagine you can scan through the various youtube uploads of the footage and find earlier comments like "Semper-Fi!" or "Go US!" etc, etc....then later comments like "dude...this is from a video game"

In fact, I believe it was part of an email forward I received from my dad, which some of his buddies had sent to their friends, and they were all excited about it...

I didn't really like this section. I mean, blowing people to pieces is all well and good, but I couldn't see the stupid pulsing lights really well. I kept shooting friendlies and hesitating on enemies because I couldn't tell them apart. :/
