AMOLED screens are utterly amazing in tablets.

Hopefully Samsung will really come out with a 10.5 inch AMOLED tablet soon like the rumors say.

i had a tab 7.7 for a year. loved it. i think it's the ideal form factor/size. amoled was great for watching movies. i had it rooted as well.

but at the end of the day, i wanted naked android. no more skins on top of it so i sold it to get the nexus 7, even though it was smaller. at the end of the day i think 7.7" is perfect but 7" works just fine for my needs.

AMOLED displays proportionally get better as the display gets larger. Probably because of the black levels and contrast ratio.
