Any free Usenet servers out there?

Apparently Time Warner stopped offering a usenet server from their company last summer. You can tell how often I use news groups...

Are there any free servers out there I can use or are they all subscriber based these days?
 
I thought the feds largely bullied ISPs to block Usenet access in order to protect society from child pron.
 
My guess there is more child porn on the web or instant messaging services that usenet because most people do not know how to use newsgroups. However, I see nobody trying to eliminate the web. Because newsgroups are not free to maintain, cable & phone companies were more than willing to eliminate them for whatever reason you give them.

Likewise, there are some free providers that give you text groups. Binary groups cost money, so nobody gives unlimited free binaries. You might find something open for testing purposes or unsecured, but they are open only temporarily.
