Just curious. Been getting some intermittant buzzing in my conversations and have disconnected all my phones, except for one and it still happened. Swapped that with another phone but don't have any calls to make right now... Figure there's gotta be a techsupport line I'm guaranteed to be on hold for 1/2hr.

Just let me know which co and I'll find the number. I'm not dialing any pay #'s or longdistance...

Thanks.

Call some random 800 number and ask to be put on hold. Say you like the music, even if there is no music.

Call your local hospital's morgue. I work @ a hospital and after 11 pm, no ones ever there, it'll ring and ring for hours if you let it.

Linksys, D-Link, Comcast, AT&T are all good choices. Linksys, I belive, once kept me on hold for over an hour with one big loop of Total Eclipse of the Heart playing. "Turn around bright eyes" was in my head for a month.

Dell is always a good bet. Verizon and AT&T seem to be good. I'm pretty sure HP, Compaq, and a bunch of others are good as well.

Earthlink REALLY SUCKED when I called them. Hours and hours.

Ha, try calling the IRS.

Maybe Verizon Communication (landline and DSL) are a good bet (I don't know--my area is served by Qwest), but Verizon Wireless is definitely not. I just called them a few minutes ago, and as usual, I got a live operator within seconds.

Call the time recording. You know

"At the tone, the time will be six forty one and 10 seconds. BEEP!"
