Just get the klite codec pack. Google for it.

Then install media player light (google for it)

Voila.

got link? googling for media player lite or "media player lite" brings up too much junk....

Even with the klite, I could not play DVDs using WMP10. Which specific codec pack do you need? There are a bunch of those codec packages.

That's what I thought. I installed it last week and it didn't come with one. I went ahead and installed my copy of PowerDVD that came with my motherboard.

Ok, whatever, k-lite codec pack has the dvd decoder in it. That is all I've used for years. Look it up.
