I used this link for a free year of the CA one through microsoft. Don't have the link on this sytem though. I think there are several free ones out there. I think I found the CA one via gogole, [free antivirus ca microsoft] maybe.

I also use the AVG one, its okay.

I have been using AVG for 3-4 years and have been virus free.

Adding ZoneAlarm has kept protected systems from having problems, even when unresponsible people install S/W that they should not.

Look at some of the threads in the S/W forum for additional info and ideas.

My combo as well, seems to work like it should.

Before my home computer died, I was using AVG with ZoneAlarm, and it was working adequately. At work I use Symantec and Sygate.

I have heard good things about Avast and Antivir as well. I think BitDefender also makes a free version.

If you decide to pay for something, NOD32 is getting great reviews.

Anyone have a good pop-up blocker? Just roaming around in Windows and I'll get some stupid pop-ups. Ran Ad-Aware many times but they still pop up :|

edit: SP2 is installed
