I swore to myself I'd never buy a brand new car again, but this new RAV 4 is like everything I want/need.

Only issue is it is just slightly out of my price range, so anyone know if Toyota plans on offering some more discounts on these bad boys?

I'd wait it out til some used ones are available, but I'm without a vehicle right now and will be purchasing one within 30-60 days regardless.

I honestly considered doing something like that, but I need something that handles well in the snow.

FWD + snow tires. You'll be all set. Works just fine in northern NH, anyway. 😉

I've considered the Forrester and Outback as well, but the look of them isn't as enticing. Plus on those XT Supercharged, my insurance will probably be significantly higher.

Uhhh...I wouldn't hold my breath. It's a completely new product. You aren't going to see any incentives on it for quite some time. It completely dominates anything in it's class...and actually even some a class above it.

Best guess? You might see some financing or lease deals pop up this winter, but no cash back for a LONG time.

They're selling like hotcakes right now... if it aint broke don't fix it... if anything I think they're underpriced...

I just bought a 2006 v6 Limited with all kinds of options for 26,600....

What pricerange are you trying to fit into?

Trying to get under 24k without a completely stripped down version.

I have a '97 which just turned 40K. In another life, I would buy a new one but that's stupid for me. This is my last car if I don't total it.
