I'm noticing I do this quite a bit. Been told that it is strange and draws suspicious attention to myself lol. Anyone else do it? I'm quitting right now.

edit: self face touch... I don't get touchy with others...

When people touch my face without warning I normally throw a quick right cross. You better hope you don't meet someone like me.

That being said, I do like touching my wife's face, but only with permission.

If a guy other than my husband or my doctor touched my face I would be very creeped out. Even if you were brushing a hair or fiber or something off, I would find that invasive.

It's my understanding that some guys do this a lot to initial contact. What do I know though? Not like I've ever done it.

I kinda scratch at my beard a bit when I'm thinking sometimes....
At work I tend to "face palm" a lot too...

I was talking to a girl I barely knew.. Really cute. She had a fuzzy in her hair and I pointed it out, and she tried to get it.. no mirror... after she tried a few times, I just reached out and picked it out of her hair.. She seemed kind of shocked that I did that.. I told her I watched her getting flustered trying to find it and thought it was easiest to just take care of it myself.. She didn't seem to care as we just kept on talking.

The only people that should be touching my face are my mom and my wife.

I would be totally creeped out if my mom touched my face ... but I can also hardly stand being in the same room as her so that probably has something to do with it.

That action has 3 possible outcomes.

1. She thinks its bold and becomes attracted to you. 5% likely
2. She shrugs it off. 5% likely
3. Restraining order. 90% likely

:) jk...

wow, now i noticed how much I do this as well
I massage my forehead, support my head with my palm while reading, and do the 'wrap palm around chin' while thinking.

never noticed it before, but if I'm sitting down and my hands aren't busy (typing or writing), they're probably touching some part of my face.

Not many people touch face without a good reason, and not often, but it does happen. Especially older people. I hate that.

It also happened often in school.... I took a lot of shit, but I could never take face touching.

Don't fucking touch my face. I'll kill you. You bastard... Die!

I do touch my face often. I tend to feel around for spots I didn't shave as well as I would like. I also do it a lot when I am nervous or thinking intensely.
