I just got a Logitech Formula Force GP wheel (the red one) and uptil now I am fairly dissappointed in it.

I'm trying to play GTR & Live For Speed with it, but the wheel's motions aren't smooth in the game. If I turn the wheel a little , it seems to move a lot in the game. this is after I changed the senstivity too!!

Also, the wheel doesn't sit center.

Anyone use this wheel with any simulation-type car games (like Grand Prix Legends, GTR, Live for Speed, etc...)?

Thanks

I have this wheel and I play GTR with it. It's not the best wheel, but one of my friends gave it to me so I can't really complain. It's better than the alternative of playing with a gamepad or the keyboard.

I've noticed a bit of the same with the sensitivity, but I was able to make it workable by turning the sensitivity down in GTR. I think I run it at like 25% or so. The fact that it doesn't sit centered is my major gripe, but that really only bothers me on tracks with long straights. If you're turning constantly, then it's no big deal. What I did do, though, to help with that and the sensitivity, both, was to put a 1% or 2% deadzone on it. It helps a lot on the long straights because you can move the wheel a little and not go flying off the track.

I took mine to a movie, then to dinner. It wasn't very interesting to hold a conversation with. When I walked it home, it wouldn't kiss me goodnight either.

And that was my experience with a Logitech Formula Force GP wheel.
