Any Experiences with AMD RMA's?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience RMAing AMD CPU's, I sent in my 3000 today because I suspect it has died. Just wondering how long it would take, I heard maybe 2 weeks? Also is there a chance of me getting an upgrade in the process? That'd be sweet cause I really hate this hot running newcastle core that just died on me.
 
I doubt you'd get an upgrade from a Newcastle since they are still around. It would be nice to get a Venice in exchange though. I'd guess about 2 weeks sounds right including shipping both ways. Sorry to hear that your CPU died.
