Any experience with new Vizio LED LCDs?

Specifically, I'm looking at the 23" VM230XVT. I haven't found many "real world" experiences with them on the internet yet. How is Vizio quality in general? I've always stuck with the more known-reliable brands but this one would just be for the kitchen.

I've had a Vizio plasma (42") in my living room since March 2007. No issues at all. Great picture quality.

Several family members have Vizio LCD's that they have no issues with (4 TV's total in the past 3 years).

I have no experience with the LED backlit LCD's. I would trust the Vizio brand as much as I do Samsung or Panasonic based on my own personal experiences.

My local Walmart has the 19" and 23" and the picture looked really good compared to the regular small LCD TVs there. I have a 22" Vizio from last year that I have in my kitchen, with a regular LCD screen, and the 23" LED looks significantly better in terms of color, brightness, and contrast.

Then again, I'm not that picky for just watching the news and weather...

I had a Vizio 47" LCD for about a year. It was excellent. Zero trouble and had the best speakers I've ever heard in a flat screen. Sold it a month ago cuz I just couldn't shake the desire for a plasma.

I've heard good things about their new LED LCD TV's. Vizio has really upped their game recently.

I like my 32" vizio LCD TV. Made watching the olympics awsome. I did see some LED vizios at sams but they were out of my price. Looked great.

Ive got the 55" and its wonderful. As others have said, their quality is much better than it used to be. They are no longer considered entry level.

My parents still have the "original" Vizio 32" LCD and it has been nothing but trouble free in the years they've had it.

I have no qualms about recommending Vizio.
