I am still using my 32" Sony XBR from 1989. I wish it would just died so I can justify getting a 42" Flatscreen.

my parents have an older 32" WEGA they bought from some friends who were moving to new zealand and couldn't take it. it looks fabulous with DVD's, in the 16:9 mode, where it squishes all available lines into the narrower format, improving resolution.

That is pretty sweet, but mine is only a 27" so it makes it a bit too small in our new living room.
