I like the looks of these cases compared with the SX830 and SX1030, but I'm not sure about the details on this case. Can some one tell me what the dinensions of these cases are? How about their moddability? If I order from Onvia, will it come with that bad-@ss Antec 300W PS? Any details appreciated.

Oh, one more thing... I scavanged 2 92mm Panaflows from an old server left outside in the hallway where I work, but I have no idea what the RPMs are or any details. Are these any good?

Just go to www.antec-inc.com for the specs, I have the ks282 and the ks188 and both are good cases, the ks282 with the 300 is a good deal from onvia for $65. You can't go wrong. The 92mm fans won't fit, cause it takes 80mm fans, in front and back.

Perhaps a bit of Modding is in order then... I could probably fit the 92mm in the front section of either of these two cases, but then I couldn't use the fan enclosures. Are these cases sturdy and are they quiet?

the ks282 really is a great basic case for the price. only problem i had was that the upper right-most stand-off hole was just a hair (maybe 1-2 mm) off of lining up with corresponding screw hole on the abit kt-7 mobo (i just hit the standoff with a hammer until it lined up). Two different ks-282's from different retailers (in same town) had this problem so I don't know if it was just a bad batch; haven't seen anyone else mention this problem.

I just picked up a KS282 a few days ago, when I realized that the Microstar dual motherboard that I have on order wouldn't fit (easily, anyway) in my Fong Kai case. The removable drive cage is nice, and is better than the one in the Fong Kai. I also prefer than horizontally mounted P/S in the KS282. The I/O shield on the KS282 really is **cheap** and thin, though, just like everyone has said. You'll want to be very careful around that thing, unless you want to slice open you finger. 'Tis a shame, since everything else about the case is great, and every other case I've seen has much better shields -- even the el-cheapo $30 "no name" cases.
