I have been goose hunting the last 2 weekends. Bagged 2 of them this past Sat. I hope to fill up the rest of my tags next weekend. Ducks are already open to hunt but there aren't many of them flying out of the marsh these days.

Yep, it starts next year. I am somewhat ambivalent about it. On one hand, I can see where it could be construed as "unfair", but on the other hand, ducks aren't as gulllible as many would believe. We haven't exactly slaughtered ducks just because of a robo in the spread, and I think in some instances it may actually cause ducks to avoid the set. It will be interesting to see how it plays out - whether it ends up being a savvy piece of wildlife management, or more knee-jerk reactionism from the AGFC.
