Any DS Lite owners had hinge problems?

I purchased my DS lite in January 2008 and the hinge on mine finally broke a few days ago. The upper screen no longer locks in the slightly angled position and will only stay in place when folded out to a 180-degree position.

This is from minor usage and I've been very careful with the unit. Luckily, the warranty for new units is 1 year and I don't think I'll have any problems getting the defect repaired for no cost.

Apparently, the hinge issues was big with the launch lites but thought it had been fixed with the newer units.
