Any DivX Codec Packs Not Loaded With SpyWare?

I just realized I forgot to carry over my DivX codec to my new machine, and I was wondering if there are any available now sans spyware, or if you have to take the bad with the good and just wipe it out once it is installed.

Why dont you just download the codec? There is no need for the player or whatever else youre talking about as long as you have the codec. BSplayer is a good player.

You can use the free DivX codec if you want to playback, or encode only occasionally.

Alternatively, if you do a lot of encoding, there is XViD which is completely free, and fully DivX compatible. It's not quite legit for commercial purposes though (MPEG4 which is what DivX and XViD are, is patented, and a paid licence is required for every encoder - DivX get this from their adware, and premium products).
