Any feedback I could get if you have one their DVR based systems. I was going through the site and they have a single reciever with dual tuners for two TV's or the option of going with seperates. Which is better ?

good question. I just called last night and switched from dtv to dish.

I'm going with the dual tuner 522 dvr for 2 rooms. The pros are that you can avoid a 5 dollar extra receiver fee and not have to have a receiver in the 2nd room. The cons are that you cannot be watching something in 1 room and be recording another program on the 2nd tuner and still watch tv in the separate room.

I'm going with the hd 811 receiver and a 522 dual tuner receiver for 3 rooms total. My inlaws have a 522 and love it and there is no lag when changing channels or anything.
 
i have dish network and the dual tuner. I really like it. .. probably because it sits in my roommates room and not mine.

i'm not quite sure if i got what slag was saying, but i can watch and record stuff seperate from my roommate, who can watch and record whatever she wants. I just can't watch something on my tv if i'm recording.

just watch out, you get obsessed with the dvr feature. i pause all the time now. 🙂
