Any difference recording wise between Audigy OEM and Audigy Platinum EX?

They are $150 apart, I know, but sound wise (not feature wise) is there any difference between the two? I only need to use to headphone in so i dont need spdif or optical ins/outs. Pure sound quality and signal noise, which is superior and by how much? Thanks a ton!

In real terms sound wise there`s no difference,gold is used to help prevent oxidation on the connections,being gold is very resistant to oxidation .
