Well he actually asked how to tell the difference between gloves so I figured common sense isn't a strong point of his, Red.

You actually want to know what the difference is?? The Softball gloves are usually bigger all around and stiffer. Wait that sounded weird:shocked:

No but it does seem to answer the question why woman like playing softball over regular baseball!

No but it does seem to answer the question why woman like playing softball over regular baseball!

Nah that's because they're too slow. They can't swing fast enough to hit a baseball. They can't round the bases fast enough when a smaller ball can be thrown.

You ever try to hit a fast pitched softball? Keep in mind that they fire it at the batter from only 45' away.

43 feet, for College Softball. My daughter got almost a full ride to a D1 school...she doesn't pitch, but her best friend does....

interestingly enough, outfielder baseball gloves are just as big as most softball gloves.
