Any desert games with an Arabic people?

This is probably a long shot here...

Are there any games where you play as one of the Arabic peoples, like one of the Bedu tribes? I'm thinking of something between the time periods of 1850 to 1950 or so.

I've been reading a lot about them lately and they would fit perfectly in a game of some sort. I love the movie, Lawrence of Arabia. I've been reading about Wilfred Thesiger and his travels among them, plus some other books.

Sry, but the closest i can think of is BF2 with the MEC.
 
The only game I played that was even close was Age of Rifles. I think there might have been Turkish and Punjab forces. You could mod the game for whatever forces you want though.
 
there's that idiot that's been going from school to school in the U.S. showcasing his suicide bomber game where you can jihad the president...not really appropriate nor politically acceptable, but I thought I'd mention it.

and not even close to what i'm looking for. most of these suggestions aren't...
 
Medieval 2 Total War is set between 1080 and 1530. Age of Rifles is set between 1846 and 1905. Age of Rifles is kind of an old game though.

Punjab is not an Arabic land or a desert. Its in India (and Pakistan) and has one of the most fertile lands in the world.
 
I found that Saladin's campaign in AOE II was really well made, but that's the crusades era and probably not what you are looking for.
 
Prince of Persia, lots of towel heads runnin around in those games. It's like Indiana Jones minus the appeal.
 
Dawn of Discovery. May not be what you're looking for, but it does have a pretty fun implementation of Arabic culture in the city building. You have to build and manage a European city and eventually an Arabian colony. Pretty fun game over all too.
 
Is there a particular reason spammers bump old threads?
Do they somehow think it wont be noticed?
If it wasnt noticed, what would be the point of spamming?
