Any dentists or TEETH experts?

The tooth right next to one of my two big teeth in front on top is pissing me off. There is a very small hole where the gum doesn't cover the two teeth. Does anyone know the cause of this and how to fix the problem?

Well the tooth has turned inward a tad but I wear a retainer everynight.

So make an appointment with your dentist or orthodontist.

But I agree with Chrono, it sounds like the gum line has receded.

Is it on the tooth or between the teeth?

Is it an actual hole or an abraded area? Does it hurt? Sounds to me like the dentin is exposed. This could be because of a poor brushing technique where you actually brushed your gum tissue away in that area.

More details needed as I'm not quite sure what you are trying to say.

Receeding gumline FTL. See your dentist before he sends you to the periodontist. And start flossing!
