Just curious. I started playing last thursday and love it. As of now, I'm a level 13 paladin and play in merlin. Anyone else play DAoC here? If so, what are your character specs?

Peace.

Heh...I've met a lot of cool people on there. My friends list is huge. I always have someone to ask for a group. :)

I played for around 6 months or so. I quit mainly because of the complete lack of high-level content. As bwb mentioned, there really isn't much else to do but kill stuff over and over and over. You're a bit better off in Albion since Mythic actually spent time developing content for it while Hibernia was literally cut-and-pasted together at the last minute.

I had a lvl45 ranger, lvl25 warden, and lvl13 mentalist on Hibernia/Igraine. I really liked the game at first and I hope it changes for the better before my characters are permanently deleted. It was sad seeing the rest of my guild quit after I left though :(

Be sure to check out the Camelot Vault forums and The Herald if you haven't already.

You better love your groupmates, because the game is not going to generate its own fun (once the learning phase is over, at least). I suppose that's true of any MMORPG to date.
