I'm just about going to install winxp again because its sortof fuct up and I would like to try out some software that I could use before I fuc up my soon to be new install.

its very different, but I prefer the basic winamp skin, but thanks for pushing me into trying winamp3 out 🙂 going to use that from now on.

I used wsftp, didnt like it, now I use leechftp and flashfxp
I have tiny firewall installed but I dont need it since I have another computer as a router that runs winroute pro with a builtin firewall.
 
Morpheous....when they sort it out....Preview Edition of 2 is monkey pants compared to the original version 1.

A program called Picview lite I have always found very handy at previewing images...but dunno where you can find it.

This is picaview, dont like it from the screenshots there, I use acdsee 3.something and love it, you should try it out.. dont get version4 since that is overbloated with crap you dont need.
 
if you can find netpersec it's a neat little bandwidth monitoring program.

Powerdesk is suppodely really liked by many people (including some here at work). Might want to check it out before starting over. It's a desktop management program that rocks in all the reviews.

I love corneramp, but my only problem with Winamp3 is there doesn't seem to be any right-click funcionality. eg. "add to playlist" in explorer isn't available, unless someone knows of a registry entry or fix for this.

That should be included when the final release of Winamp 3 is released, which should hopefully be soon.

Another great program is Kazaa Lite, which is the same as Kazaa but with all the crap and spyware removed from it

Czar : Neotrace is useful to trace people down if you start getting lots of SPAM from a email certain address/domain name - it can also be fun to enter less-reputable sites and see what comes out!
