does such a phone exists?
i feel guilty buying such a nice phone like samsung galaxy s 2 just for talking. i dont care about stupid apps.

any gsm phone for att or tmobile. im willing to spend $500. i would think they can make a paper thin phone by now that's just for talking. it seems all the nice dumb phones are in japan. nothing for usa.

i always thought the software of the razr was total shit - contemporary sony ericssons and nokias were much nicer, if not as thin.

Good luck. I had the same issue a year ago and realized none of the manufacturers give a crap about the low margin non-smartphone market. Let me know if you find something that's not garbage..
I ended up with a Moto z3 (I think..) for $60 unlocked. yeah it's a POS. If the software in the RAZER is similar it's terrible.

Nokia 6600 fold. Absolutely loved that phone (still have it!).

Extremely solid build quality. Very small when closed. Slips in your pocket perfectly. Folding it answers the call obviously. Best phone I used for calling since the 6230.

Cons - Bluetooth sucks on it (I'm not using BT headsets though). Battery lasts only a week at best.

that motofone looks pretty sweet.

OP: why would you be willing to pay $500 for a phone that simply does voice?

:hmm:

because that's the normal price? like this one from Sharp on ebay now:

too bad nothing like that exists in usa 🙁

but you're paying the same price for a device that has 1/20th the functionality of a stable of other devices out there. whether or not you use those functions, you still lose, I think.

and that one you linked doesn't just do voice: it has a 8mp camera and does video and media playback.
