Any comments about this monitor: Compaq P900?

It is said that this monitor can support up to 1600x1200 at 85Hz, is it true? For anyone who has used or is using it, is the screen flat enough? Many thanks!

That monitor uses the Sony FD tube off of their G series of monitors. Yes, it's completely flat and yes, it'll do 1600x1200 at 85hz as long as your vid card supports it. It'll do a max res of 1920x1440.
