I just got an Orinoco RG-1100 and Gold PC Card. I can't seem to get it to connect to the internet. I can get excellent signal to my RG, but no internet 🙁

I called Agere and they said this is a known issue w/ Comcast's switch from @Home.....and it's still unresolved. I called Comcast, and they said they don't support it.

Anyone in the same boat??

This doesn't sound like an issue with Comcast's switch...it sounds like an issue with the RG... If you have a hub setup and another system, you could try sharing through IPX/SPX or NetBEUI? That would allow you to do some tests....then you could also see about pinging any other computers on your network. This would let you know if your RG is doing its job. Sometimes protocol issues or driver issues may be present even though signal levels are high... Just some things to test. Also, RG should do most of the support because Comcast isn't going to overstep their bounds...they didn't sell you the wireless setup so in their minds, you're on your own. This is common for ISP companies. Good Luck! 🙂
