What do you collect? Foriegn, American? Old / New?

Just curious if anyone around here collects coins, not that many of us have money after upgrading so much...

I've resumed collecting after a long time... I have been in the navy, and its really hard to collect when I'm outside the US...

I've begun collecting Silver dollars.. Morgans, and Peace...

 
I've got a penny collection -- one from every year since they started minting the current style pennies (the first where the wheat-back ones). I've got some old silver dollars (from 1870's), but nothing much. I haven't collected for years.
 
When I was a kid, and started collecting... Silver was impractical to collect, in the mid 80's... Silver prices jumped way up, and I couldn't afford to collect anything but pennies and nickels... So, I have a bunch of them back home, and a few misc silver...

Now I'm looking at collecting a little more seriously, silver prices are seriously down from way back then... and I'm looking at collecting Silver dollars..
 
I collect US coins only. I'm more of a student of US coin history than a collector, though, as I rarely buy any.

Morgan Silver Dollars.

Try for MS-63, -62, or -60 depending on the price, but some are really too pricey. An example was I had to settle a LOT lower on an 88s.
 
Yeah, I'm mostly looking in that grading range... MS60+, but I can see a few I would have to settle for less...
 
I used to about 10 years ago, but I kinda lost interest. I mostly collected Canadian pennies and nickels. The rarest one I had (actually, I still have it) is a 1925 nickel. They only minted about 200,000 of them.
 
US coins only here.

Have quite a few Morgan and Liberty MS-60 and above, some pcgs graded, some not.

Also like gold coins and prices have come down quite a bit but still too much for me.

Used to be a vest pocket dealer but have lost interest since moving to Fl. Not much GOOD activity here.
 
I mainly collect foriegn money because 99.9999% of the time it looks better. I do have some U.S. coins but they are mainly the ones that looks good or are old. My favorite coin is the 20 Balboa coin from Panama. It is one huge coin. I need to get a picture of it and post it.
 
I'm not serious collector, but I hang on to interesting or old ones. I have a 2000 penny that was printed off center, that one's cool. I have some ancient coins also, but nothing worth anything.
