Any CG artists/ film geeks around?

Film student here that would love to hook up with an aspiring CG artist to make some "art.".. Being unemployed has left me with a lot of time to dabble in screenwriting- I would eventually love to get a small crew together to make a few low-budget short films- anyone interested in helping with some digital effects? This is totally not-for-profit and everyone (actors, crew, etc.) would be working for fun and for the betterment of their careers. I also think this would be a blast.. I have a lot of ideas that could really work and I have a lot of video and sound equipment at my disposal (as well as high end editing gear).. What I'm looking for is a few good men and women that are willing to donate their time to do some light digital effects - You don't even have to be a NYC local - broadband internet access and DV compression would allow us to work on the net.. I'm only brainstorming here but I think this could work out really well..

That's fine man - thanks for the support! We have so many bright people here on anandtech that I think we can all put or collective brains together and make some great art - kinda like an intellectual SETI of sorts Heck, PM me even if you don't know a think about film making and just have an interest.. This is all about learning and growing as artists, people, and most importantly - geeks

I'm a 3D animation student... i guess you could consider me a CG artist. I took a lot of film classes freshamn year, but i didnt like them too much. I'm gonna stick with 3D and compositing.
