Yeah, Im a looser. You gonna help me or what?

It's really not taht hard, just go to "connect" and try a couple of servers out, after a while you'll get a feel for which has people taht are closer, so you get better speeds.....if you want, go to dcplusplus.com (or search for DC++ on google), it's a C++ based client, which is banned by a some servers, but it's a lot easier to use, and takes up WAY less resources.

Basically share a decent amount, have usually 3 spots, and try out different servers. Me for instance, I share 80 some odd gigs, so I get into server where everybody else has craploads of stuff, makes things definetely more worthwhile.

Good luck, I kinda just figured it out for myself, I hope you can do the same. 🙂

yea, its pretty simple once you get into it, just click on public hubs and choose a room to go into, they usually have a description of the main types of files in the room, then you can either search for something or just browse users in the hubs files and see if theres anything you want. just make sure you have a couple gigs shared or youll get kicked out of the rooms.

Ain't too newbie friendly as it is like most ppl to UNIX/LINUX i take it. Well, I finally figured how to connect to a hub and of course get kicked out frequently due to my infantile collection. The ones i've connected tho, I still trying to figure out the search feature since theres no button to click after typing what to search for. Is it that you need to connect to a individual user to search their collection or do a general search of a file at the hub?
