Haven't heard the other two, but what I've heard from MM so far was great. Pixies are of course also amazing.

I like Ben Kweller/Radish lately. Ozma is the new Weezer.

You need to check out Loretta Lynn's new album, Van Lear Rose. Best whole album I've listened to in many years.

Rush just started their tour. (www.rush.com). GA tickets in most places are 30 or so bucks. Very heavy, VERY loud (bring earplugs).

The Mayan Factor
Steriogram (sort of like 311)
Mushroomhead
Iron Maiden
Goldfinger
Dream Theatre
Descendants
Blindside
Arafel
Leftover Crack
Adema
Soil (new cd sucks)

I dunno...just naming some cds laying around. I like all music, except r&b/country, and what I've listed is punk/metal/numetal/hardcore/grind/alternative

Funny, that was the band I was gonna suggest, unless he (what's w/ the female avatar?) said his favorite bands were all new band junk out now, which is why I asked first. And he even lives in Ontario.
I was at the first show of the 30th anniversary tour here in Nashville last Wednesday. 18th row on Alex's side. I was also thinking that it was louder than 2 years ago. Then I was on Geddy's side, and wondered if that made the difference in volume.
