any bad axe 2 reviews yet?

The BIOS implements the 1333 strap among other things. We have a retail board arriving shortly and will compare it to the 680i and RD600 in the near future.

i read shamino dropped the multiplier to 8x but looked at his results and he was using a 6400 which is 8x so maybe he described wrongly. so looks like your right.

hmmm... not sure what your saying here. Translation?

Anyway, the BadAxe2 is going for $249 at the moment at two places.

The guys over at XS that have the mobo and using it are giving out more info than most reviewers do IMO. The biggest downside, IMHO, is that you have to use the dip switches to reset the mobo after each overclock failure. I like the mobos that just reset to a safe default personally. Other than that its a good mobo but the 680i is going to surpass it in features and more importantly overclocking.

yeh tweaktown and i think maybe vrzone are the only ones w/ a decent review...but no actual users seem to care about the badaxe 2, i dont see any posts or user experiences or anything concerning this board.
